Meet at 9.30am at the car parking area on Rossall Promenade, Cleveleys, near the community sign board.

If you'd like to know more about how this group looks after the beach - or join in with other things but not beach cleaning - feel free to come along and meet the team for a chat!

This event is supported by the Wyre Council Waterfront Rangers and volunteer Rangers.

PLEASE NOTE: This event is dependent on the weather, which is often worse on the beach than it might be even slightly inland. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear and wrap up warm. If the event is cancelled because of the weather a notice will be placed on the group website before 9am on the day. Please check www.rossallbeach.org.uk

Rossall Beach Residents & Community Group is a registered charity which works to improve the environment from the cafe at the end of the new sea defences at Cleveleys, through to the Five Bar Gate near to Rossall School.

There are regular beach cleans to get involved with and other environmental projects, plus fundraising and community events just for fun and to make new friends. You can help to improve the environment and to make the place better for everyone to enjoy, whether they are residents or visitors. Find out more about the Rossall Beach Group.

For more details ring 829390, email secretary@rossallbeach.org.uk or go to the website www.rossallbeach.org.uk

Venue: Anchorsholme Park, Anchorsholme Lane West, Blackpool
Start: 11:00

Come and take part in the fun, and have your say on the future of Anchorsholme Park at this consultation event

Fun Day in Anchorsholme Park

Anchorsholme Park Fun Day

Monday 27 October from 11am to 3pm

Come along and have a say in the future of the park at this first United Utilities Consultation event

Take part in face painting, pumpkin carving, make your own spider, games to play, orienteering trail

Anchorsholme Park, Anchorsholme Lane West, Blackpool

This is the first public consultation about what the future Anchorsholme Park will look like once all of the United Utilties work has been completed in 2019/2020. United Utilities will be there to discuss their plans as will an organisation called Ground Works who are helping us with the future Anchorsholme Park designs. Matt Hill the architect for our Promenade and the Park will be there as well.

There will a lot of effort to hear from local children in this design process so face painters have been organised for the day. Anchorsholme Councillor Paul Galley will be there and it will be the first of many consultations between now and May 2015 when the final plans will be submitted. If anyone can't make it on the day, some rough plans will be circulated afterwards and ways you can add your feedback, it's essential that everyone's voice are heard.
