Fleetwood Festival of Transport, Tram Sunday, are finalists in the 2015 Tourism Event category in the 2015 Lancashire Tourism Awards.
Judging is now complete and the winners will be announced at the ceremony on 5 November at Blackpool Winter Gardens.
The winner of the category has the opportunity to go forward to represent Lancashire at the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2016.
Organised by the Wyre Tourism Association, the awards recognise the quality, determination and achievements of tourism businesses and encourage excellent customer care within the industry.
The borough's top attractions, accommodation providers, restaurants and event organisers gathered at Thornton Little Theatre for the annual Awards.
Robert Brown and Shaun Hartley from the organising team went along to the Awards Ceremony to collect their certificate and said "Tram Sunday is a significant event for the economy of Fleetwood, and a great day out for the tens of thousands of people who come along each year, so it's nice that it's been acknowledged in this way."
Garry Payne, Chief Executive of Wyre Council, said: "The number and quality of submissions this year was extremely high making judging a difficult task. All the winners have excelled in their categories and should be very proud of their achievements."
